General Studies Committee Study - Fall 2006

The General Studies Committee conducted a survey of general education programs in 51 colleges and universities in the fall of 2006.

These colleges and universities are listed below. (There is some duplication among the lists, which has been accounted for in our data.)

  1. A list of institutions being considered as possible peer institutions for Metro State. See list.
  2. The “Promising Models” list from the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). See list.
  3. The “finalist list” of institutions being considered as peer institutions for Metro State. See list.
  4. We have also made a separate list of colleges and universities in our research data base that are Hispanic Serving Institutions. See list.
