The Center for Visual Art (CVA) is the free off-campus visual art center of MSU Denver. Acting as an anchor in the Arts District on Santa Fe, the CVA’s leading contemporary art exhibitions feature regional and international artists while serving as a platform to promote the inspiring art of MSU Denver’s students and faculty. Additionally, partnering with MSU Denver Arts Education, the CVA participates actively within the neighboring community providing critical arts education to hundreds of elementary and adolescent youth. The award-winning CVA is an interactive art laboratory where MSU Denver students participate directly via Work-Study, internship and volunteer programs. Engaging with the CVA’s staff, students learn art handling and installation while developing vital skills relevant to careers in arts administration. The Center for Visual Art is a nonprofit organization operating as a division of the MSU Denver Art Department but serving the MSU Denver campus as a whole. All students are encouraged to experience the CVA. For more information on programming, please visit the CVA’s website.
