The Auraria Early Learning Center services children from 12 months to 6 years old. The center provides a curriculum that is developmentally appropriate for the needs of each child. The curriculum is developed through extensive assessments, identification of individual and group goals, and the planning of appropriate activities that emphasize discovery, learning and active involvement. The Auraria Early Learning Center is accredited by Qualistar and is consistently recognized by the educational community as a high-quality early childhood care and educational program. The Auraria Early Learning Center is a fully licensed program through the Colorado Department of Social Services. Each supervising teacher is Early Childhood Teacher-qualified, and each kindergarten teacher is fully certified through the state of Colorado. Facilities are available to the students, staff and faculty of the Auraria Campus. The center is open 7 a.m.–6 p.m., Monday–Friday. Assistance in paying your child’s tuition may be available through a “need-based” program funded by your Student Affairs fees.
