The Tivoli Student Union, managed by AHEC’s Student Facilities and Services, provides a wide variety of services for the Auraria community. If you want a break, or a quiet place to study, the Tivoli Student Union is just the place. With full-service restaurants, a food court, coffeehouse and deli, and a convenience store, you will find a place to suit your appetite, schedule and budget. If you don’t want to eat and would rather retreat, you can watch TV in the historic Boiler Room Student Lounge, play a game of pool at Sigi’s Pool Hall & Arcade, meet a study group in the Multicultural Lounge or study in total silence in the Garage Quiet Study Lounge.
The Tivoli Student Union is also home to the Student Advisory Committee to the Auraria Board (SACAB). SACAB is composed of student representatives from each institution, and provides guidance for the Auraria Campus through the Division of Student Facilities and Services. Its mission is to guide the development and direction of many integral student services throughout the campus, some of which include utilization of the Tivoli Student Union, the Auraria Early Learning Center, the Bookstore, campus food services and student RTD passes. Maximizing services for students and the entire campus community is the goal of SACAB and Student Facilities and Services. SACAB meets weekly during the semester, and meetings are open to the community.
Auraria Campus Event Services schedules the use of space in the Tivoli Student Union, St. Francis, St. Cajetan’s and all outdoor spaces. If your student club or organization needs a meeting space, its staff can assist you.
