Campus Emergencies

Please call 911 from a campus phone to report a medical emergency. Campus phones are linked to the Auraria Campus Police Department (ACPD) and they will coordinate emergency response with the Health Center. If you are using a cell phone call 303-556-5000 to reach the ACPD. If you call 911 from your cell phone you will get the Denver Police and this may delay the response to campus. Health Center personnel are trained as first responders to emergencies and will assist in coordinating care for the individual(s) involved.

The Health Center urges all students, faculty, staff and visitors to campus to carry emergency contact information in either their wallet or in the contact list on their cell phone. If using a cell phone please put in the acronym ICE (in case of emergency) and the phone number of the primary person to contact in an emergency. This will significantly help emergency responders.
