Medical Care
Eligibility
All Students, faculty and staff on the Auraria Campus are eligible for services. No insurance is necessary.
Be prepared to show a validated current semester I.D. card each time you check in. New patients will need to complete a Patient Information Sheet and Medical History Form.
**Please note: students on Medicare and Medicaid are not permitted to use the Health Center at Auraria except for initial emergency care. These benefit plans are federally regulated, and patients on either of these programs must use approved Medicare and Medicaid facilities/providers.
Healthy Moves and Health Education sessions are open to everyone.
Staff
The Health Center is staffed by Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, and Allied Health Professionals.
On-Site Physician Specialists:
Psychiatrists and Gynecologists provide specialty medical care.
Walk-in Care
Walk-in Care is available on a "first come / first served" basis. No appointment is necessary. Patients are encouraged to arrive early to increase the likelihood of Walk-in availability. Patients are scheduled for a same day or a future appointment according to the severity of their medical need.
