Scholarships and Awards
Please stop by the department to pick up information on the following scholarships that are offered through the Department of Health Professions:
- Loeffler Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students majoring in Recreation Professions in either emphasis area, Recreation Management or Therapeutic Recreation.
- Dr. Furman C. Griffis Endowed Memorial Scholarship
Offered to Recreation Professions degree seeking students at MSU Denver, this scholarship honors the work of Dr. Furman C. Griffis, who devoted his life to the field of recreation.
- AUPHA/McGaw Scholarship
A scholarship available to junior or senior health care management majors.
- Health Professions Endowed Scholarship - Rising Star
Applicants must have a minimum of a Sophomore classification in their program (at least 30 credit hours), be a declared major in HCM, ITP, NUT or RECR programs, and have an appropriate GPA as determined by each program.
- The Guldman-Strauss Endowed Scholarship
This is a need-based scholarship available to Integrated Therapies students. Students applying for this scholarship must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) found online. MSU Denver’s Title IV School Code is 001360.
