History Major: The History major consists of 42 credits in History courses.
History Minor: The History minor consists of 21 credits of history courses. Although the History minor has three tracks, the Department strongly recommends that students take the regular history minor. Students may count three of those hours in Historical General Studies if they request the Department to make a CAPP adjustment.
History Secondary School Licensure: Many students, both pre and post baccalaureate, seeking Secondary School Licensure in Social Science use History as their major.
History Elementary and Early Childhood Licensure: Some Elementary and Early Childhood Education licensure students use History as their major. Contact an advisor for details.
