Urban Teacher Partnership

The Urban Teacher Partnership (UTP) was created to help secondary education students become successful urban teachers. History Majors seeking teacher licensure are invited to take part. UTP students have the opportunity to complete their field experiences and student teaching in supportive, successful urban schools. Additionally, scholarship funds are available to cover coursework focused on English Language Learners. This coursework will supplement Social Studies program preparation and enhance marketability.
