Gloria Kennison, The Department's longtime administrative assistant retired in February 2009. Her replacement, Donna Potempa, brings a wealth of experience to the position. Sharon Roehling remains as the Department's senior administrative assistant.
In Fall 2009 two new visiting faculty members will join the Department. Dr. Andrea Mastrejuan, an expert on Modern European History, holds a Ph.D. from the University of California--Los Angeles. Dr. Derek Everett, an expert on Western America, holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas.
