Student organizations are a great way for HTE students to network within the industry and to get a better idea of the employment opportunities within a specific field.
Rocky Mountain Professional Convention Management Association (RMPCMA)
The purpose of the RMPCMA is to provide HTE students with opportunities to network with meeting and convention industry professionals to make valuable contacts which will give them real-world working experience and possible employment opportunities.

This student organization is affiliated with the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association. The purpose of CHLASC is to offer HTE students opportunities to interact with industry professionals on a local, regional, and national basis for developing their professionalism and for possible contacts for employment opportunities.

The Restaurant Club and Student Chapter of the CRA
The purpose of the Colorado Restaurant Association (CRA) is to promote the growth of the hospitality industry in the state of Colorado; to foster the continued interest in the hospitality industy in Colorado; to provide members with the opporrtunity to network with the industry executives and industry professionals; and to serve the college community by helping members and students get involved in the hospitality industry in the state of Colorado.

The purpose of the Metro Travel Society is to promote to HTE students the travel industry through conferences, networking, and education.

Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)
SIFE establishes student teams on university campuses. These teams are led by faculty advisors and they are challenged to develop community outreach projects that reach SIFE's five educational topics.
