The Metro State Honors Program cultivates a community of high-performing students who expect a lot out of themselves and a lot out of their college experience.

Open to new, continuing and transfer students, the Honors Program provides an enriching academic experience for motivated students with broad academic interests. Designed to promote independent thought and creative inquiry, honors credits are usually earned in conjunction with your degree program--not as additional hours.

Smaller class sizes promote critical thinking, encourage class discussion and foster a close relationship between students and faculty

The Honors Program sponsors cultural outings, service-learning projects, and other social events. Honors students also have the opportunity to participate in local, regional and national Honors conferences.

The Honors Program is an excellent way to enhance your college experience and improve the value of your Metro State degree.

Registration for Spring 2010 is now open! Honors is offering 56 courses. Feel free to drop by WC-147 or schedule an appointment for Honors advising.
