The Accounting Honor Society

Description: The primary mission of the honor society is to recognize academic excellence in the field of Accounting, to stimulate interest in this field and to promote and encourage professional development among accounting majors. (Website: http://www.msudenver.edu/acc/)
Qualifications for membership in the Accounting Honor Society: (1) Graduate with the MPAcc degree, or (2) For B.S. in Accounting graduates, attainment of Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, or Cum Laude status.
Honor Society membership occurs at Commencement time. The symbol is a Royal Blue Cord which can be worn during Commencement Excercises. Cords may be obtained from the Department of Accounting Office Manager (303-556-3181) after being notified that the cords are available. At this time there is no charge for the Royal Blue Cord.
