Athletic Training Clinical Experiences
The Athletic Training Clinical Experience courses are:
- HPS 2221: Athletic Training Clinical Experience I
- HPS 2861: Athletic Training Clinical Experience II
- HPS 3831: Athletic Training Clinical Experience III
- HPS 3851: Athletic Training Clinical Experience IV
- HPS 4751: Athletic Training Clinical Experience IV
- HPS 4771: Athletic Training Clinical Experience VI
Students in the Athletic Training and Education Program will meet on campus for 1 hour 15 minutes each week, and are also required to complete the mandatory athletic training clinical experience (ATCE) hours at assigned affiliated athletic training sites in the Denver Metro area, the majority of which occur in the afternoons, evenings, and also on weekends.
The Athletic Training Education Program director and clinical coordinator will determine placement at training sites. Students will be rotated to various sites during the six-semester rotation.
