Cesar CedilloBachelor of History (’96)How much impact can one graduate, with a Metro State degree in hand, have within our community? Consider the story of Cedillo who, as a young boy, came to the United States speaking only Spanish and understanding the importance of hard work and education.
These qualities translated into academic success, first as a Metro State student in our urban environment, and then as a key member of the administration of Bruce Randolph School in northeast Denver. Under his assistance—based on the principles he grew up with—the public school transformed from one of the worst in the state to one recognized by President Barack Obama in his State of the Union Address. |
