Advisory Council
The department has an advisory council comprised of local design professionals representing both design consultancies and product manufacturers and is chaired by a nationally known design educator, Dr. Jim Kauffman. The group meets with the department faculty at least once per year to provide industry expertise and insight for curriculum development and strategic planning.
