The Office of International Studies is proud to provide opportunities for its students in all academic fields to participate in international education abroad. Metro State recognizes that study abroad is an important and complementary aspect to student’s education, and we encourage faculty and staff to learn about all available opportunities for students.
Our office also works to promote international education and professional development for Metro State faculty. The Office of International Studies supports faculty who wish to design and lead short term study abroad courses, as well as participate in our London or Dublin Semesters Abroad.
Additionally, the office invites applications from faculty for travel support for participation in international conferences OR professional development. These awards can be used to supplement professional development awards received from the departments and/or the Deans’ offices. Faculty members who did not receive any PD awards from the departments or the Deans’ offices may also apply. The applicants must meet certain criteria and requirements.
