Application Overview
The application process varies depending on your program of choice. Please review the following options:
Partnership Programs, Metro London, & Internships – student must directly contact a study abroad advisor to begin the process.
- Request Approval from Office of International Studies to Study Abroad (must meet basic requirements)
- Complete MSU Denver’s Study Abroad Paperwork
- Apply directly to the program of choice (may only do so once approved by OIS)
- Attend a PreDeparture Orientation
All Metro Applications are managed through our student portal

Faculty-Led – student should directly contact the faculty involved.
- Speak with Faculty in charge
- Complete MSU Denver Faculty-Led Application and Paperwork
- Attend necessary meetings
- Watch the Student Health & Safety Video (most faculty will show this at a meeting. If is also available for viewing in the Office)
