Many MSU Denver students work with our partnership programs for their study abroad experience. These programs assist students, parents, and university faculty and advisors throughout the study abroad process. They can help you from choosing the appropriate program for your level and interest, to completing the application process and participating successfully in the study abroad experience. Importantly, program providers offer students support during the application process, and while in-country. Each provider we work with is based in the US and has international offices and staff in every study abroad location. Resident directors are available to help with the students needs, from course registration to housing issues to natural disasters. All of our partnership programs are properly accredited and students will earn credit towards their degree.
It is important that students choose an appropriate program to get the most out of an international experience. Because there are a variety of program types, structures, locations, and requirements, it is worth the time and effort it takes to find a program that meets your individual academic and personal needs.
Programs have distinctive characteristics, like students, and thus it is important to find the right “match” between the student and the program. Your friend, or sister, or teacher may have participated in a program that was “absolutely great” for them, but may not be a good fit for you.
- Understand your needs and characteristics before choosing a program
- Explore several options and compare program characteristics
- Choose a program that fits your needs and characteristics
The following is an alphabetical listing of the programs with which we work, and the countries they go to. Additionally we are affiliated with a good number of organizations.
