Who qualifies?
To register with The Internship Center, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Completed at least one semester at Metropolitan State College of Denver
- Sophomore, junior or senior status
- Declared major in an undergraduate program
- 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA at Metro
How to find an internship
Your first step is to register with The Internship Center.
• Call 303 556-3290 to make an orientation appointment with a coordinator
• Bring your enrollment paperwork to the orientation meeting. The required paperwork includes: a current resume, an unofficial transcript and a completed and signed Application Form and Guidelines and Agreement Form.
If you're missing any of these materials, we will reschedule your appointment.
During the orientation, the coordinator will explain our program. He or she will also discuss your skills, academic background and career interests, review your resume, and start the process of referring you to internships.

Our office is located on Auraria Campus in a historic house on Ninth Street Park, directly to the west of West Classroom Building.
