Management Assistant Professor Elizabeth McVicker will lead this short course on the laws governing the allocation of water resources, administrative processes affecting water distribution, and policy considerations influencing water decisions. In the 1980s McVicker built a pioneering passive-solar house in South Park on a tributary of the South Platte River. Her interest in water issues followed what she calls attempted “water grabs” from the Park County aquifer.
