Malcolm Farley | A Visual Retrospective

Internationally acclaimed artist and Metro State alumnus Malcolm Farley is renowned for his visions of color and unique ability to capture the moment, the action and the spirit of an event. In his distinctive painting style, Farley blends bold strokes of color with the drama of some of the world’s most memorable moments in time. Recognized as “America’s Artist to the Stars,” he continues to gain worldwide recognition for his ever-growing portfolio of high-profile events and philanthropic work.

You are invited to a special exhibition of more than 100 of Farley’s paintings and works on paper, ranging from his early career to current works from the 2009 World Series.

Open to the public daily for one week only, the exhibition will be at the Denver Pavilions, 500 Sixteenth St, on Level 2, Suite 262 (in the former Wolfgang Puck restaurant). The gallery will be open to the public 11 a.m.-7 p.m. daily, November 11-17.

Parking is available in the Denver Pavilions garage located on Welton between 15th and 16th Streets.

• Pavilions Re-Launch Celebration
Featuring Malcolm Farley’s unveiling of his portrait of Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper and an escalator runway show with local business and community leaders, including Metro State President Stephen Jordan.

Wednesday | November 11
• Lunch and Learn: The Business of Art, Noon-1 p.m.

Thursday | November 12
• Lunch and Learn: Artist Demonstration, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
• World Series 2009 Unveiling, 5:30-7 p.m.

Join Malcolm Farley for a public reception featuring his music-inspired work.

Proceeds from sales of artwork and memorabilia will benefit Metropolitan State College of Denver Scholarships.
