Metro South Offers Accounting, Computer Information Systems, and Management degree completion programs!
Finish your Business degree in the Denver Tech Center! Metro South, located at I-25 and Orchard Road, will offer courses (on a rotating basis) required for majors in Accounting, Computer Information Systems, and Management. Classes are conveniently scheduled in the evenings and on Saturdays. The Business Core and a variety of general studies courses are also offered at Metro South.

Notice of Upper Division Business Course Requirements Attention: All Students Planning to Take Business Courses
Courses with prefixes: ACC, CMS, FIN, MGT, MKT
All students are expected to know and fulfill all current prerequisite requirements. The School of Business reserves the right to dis-enroll students who do not meet current prerequisite requirements or who fail to meet expected course attendance policies. In addition to meeting specific course prerequisites, the following general requirements also apply:
Prior to attending an upper-division course (i.e., course number of 3000 or 4000) offered by the School of Business Departments of Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Finance, Management, or Marketing, all students must have:
• Completed General Studies requirements (ENG 1010, ENG 1020, SPE 1010, MTH 1310)
• completed at least 60 credit hours overall (junior standing);
• declared a major in any discipline or the non-degree seeking status.

Notice of Pre-Requisite Enforcement for MGT 4950
Attention: All Students Majoring in Business B. S. Programs
ACC, CMS, FIN, MGT, and MKT
The prerequisites for MGT 4950 Strategic Management will be strongly enforced. Those prerequisites include:
• Senior standing
• Completion of all other Business Core courses (ACC 2010, CIS 2010, FIN 3300, MGT 2040, MKT 2040, ACC 2020, CIS 3300, MGT 3000, MKT 3000, CIS 3320)
Any student found to be registered for this course who does not meet the above requirements can be dis-enrolled from the course. See a current College Catalog or your advisor for more information.

Notice of Minimum Grade for Business Core Courses
Attention: All Students Majoring Business B. S. Programs
ACC, CMS, FIN, MGT, and MKT
Each business core course must have a grade of “C” or better to count toward the Bachelor of Science degree in a business program. The Business Core courses are: ACC 2010, CIS 2010, FIN 3300, MGT 2040, MKT 2040, ACC 2020, CIS 3300, MGT 3000, MKT 3000, CIS 3320, and MGT 4950. This applies to all students using a catalog year of Fall 2001 or later. This is a graduation requirement that must be met prior to awarding the Bachelor of Science degree. Notice of 60 Credit Hour Advising Hold

The School of Business wants to help each student obtain a Bachelor degree in a timely and effective manner. Each semester every student that is about to complete 60 Credit Hours is required to complete online advising.
