Rodolfo Garcia

Education and Professional Experience:

Dr. García received a B.S. in Education from Bowling Green State University with a major in Spanish and pursued graduate study at Indiana University, where he earned an M.A. degree in Spanish and Latin American Literature. He later received his Ph.D. in Foreign Language Education from the Ohio State University. Dr. García also taught at Williams College, Central Michigan University and the University of Colorado at Boulder. He was a Visiting Professor at Middlebury College and Texas A&I University in Laredo, Texas.

Teaching and Research Interests:

Dr. García taught all levels of Spanish at the university level and had experience as a high school teacher of Spanish. Although his main interest remained Foreign Language Methodology, he taught courses in Bilingual Education and Special Education, as well as directed student teachers and teaching assistants. He was Department Chair for three years.
