Access-a-Ride
"Access-a-Ride" is a paratransit service mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act for those who are:- Unable to board, ride or exit from a bus, or
- Whose impairments make it impossible to travel to & from regular bus stops
Customers must be certified before they may use the service. Certification requires:
- An evaluation interview
- Physician's verification may be required
- No fee is charged to go through the certification process
