How to change ConnectU/Email/Admin Password

Step for changing your password

All Users

Please take a few minutes to change your password to avoid service interruptions of ConnectU, BlackBoard and your computer login accounts.

  1. Log into ConnectU at https://ConnectU.mscd.edu/cp/home/displaylogin

  2. Click on the Outlook icon or go directly to metromail.mscd.edu

  3. Once the new window opens, click on Options in the upper right hand corner.

  4. In the left hand column click on the Change Password link.

  5. Enter your old (current) password followed my your new password.  You will then need to enter your new password a second time to confirm.

Laptop Users

  • After completing steps 1 through 5 in the "All Users" section, you will need to plug your laptop into an on-campus network cable, and log in to update your access credentials on your laptop.
  • Depending on the version, your PGP password may not synchronize unless you manually change it.  If you would like to change your PGP password please bring your laptop to the Help Desk in West Classroom 241 or the Administration building 450.

Banner Users

After completing steps 1 through 5 in the "All Users" section, please follow the steps below to update your Banner password.

  1. Log back into ConnectU at https://ConnectU.mscd.edu/cp/home/displaylogin

  2. Click on the My Services/Registration tab.

  3. In the Banner Links window click the Internet Native Banner link. This will open Banner and your Banner password will now be synced to your new password.

 

List of services that will use the new password

  • Banner Tracking

  • Blackboard (if you go through ConnectU)

  • Domain Login(campus network)

  • Internet Native Banner (after synchronization)

  • ConnectU

  • MetroMail

  • VPN
