How can I tell if my PC's network wire is properly connected?
- Typically, if your network wire is properly connected the illuminated indicator near the connection on the back of your computer will be green. If the indicator is flashing, it is OK as this shows normal network activity.
- If you see an indicator that is other than green, please ensure that the wire is fully engaged on both ends (in PC and at the wall jack)
- If you still need assistance, please call the Metro State Help Desk and provide them with both the computer ID number and the number printed on the wall jack, if possible.
