On the whole, Metro State puts greater value on the student than into conducting research. That is, unless, research is the student experience. This sweet spot is where Carello thrives, along with the rest of our science, technology, engineering and mathematics faculty. She’s adept at creating opportunities for her students to participate in practical field experience, and then present their findings at regional, national and international meetings.
Carello's inquisitive desire for unlocking nature’s mysteries does more than just intrigue and fuel her students' thirst for knowledge, it provides valuable insight that impacts our community and our environment.
