Worthy gives everything he has to his students. According to him, late nights and early mornings also qualify as his office hours. But he considers this dedication his obligation—he appreciates how Metro State students are more concerned with the education they receive, and how it can help advance their professional career, than the actual grade they receive.
Recognizing the importance of putting the student first isn’t uncommon to our faculty. What’s more surprising to Worthy is that other institutions don’t do the same. |
