Fernanda Nieto was born in Argentina, where she received her undergraduate degrees in piano performance. She completed her Master's Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at Ohio University in 2003. In Dec. 2009, she completed the Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has participated in master classes in Argentina and the United States with renowned pianists such as Luiz de Moura Castro, Ursula Oppens, and Christopher O'Riley. Currently, Fernanda is an affiliate piano faculty member at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she teaches Piano, Piano Pedagogy, and Class Piano.
