Student Support Services receives $1.4 million renewal grant

The Student Support Services (SSS) program at Metropolitan State College of Denver received word last week that it will receive a five-year, $1.4 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education to continue offering support services to students who are the first generation in their families to attend college, are low–income or have a disability. The grant is effective Sept. 1, 2010.
