Director of Athletics Joan McDermott has named four individuals and one team to the College’s 2011-12 Hall of Fame class.  “The 2011 class recognizes some of the most accomplished basketball individuals and one of the greatest teams to come through Metro State,” she says. “We are excited for our inductees and look forward to bringingeveryone back together to see all of the exciting changes to our campus.”

The 2001-02 men’s basketball national championship team and former women’s players Stephanie Allen (1996-2000) and Natasha Molock (2001-2005) will be inducted on Aug. 13 along with former Metro State Vice President of Administration Joseph Arcese and Mike Dunlap, who served as head coach from 1997-2006.

Dunlap guided Metro State to two national championships, four Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference regular season championships, six RMAC Tournament championships and nine NCAA Tournament appearances in nine seasons.
