Transfer Students
Metro State College of Denver classifies transfer students as students who have attended classes at another college or university and will be transferring classes towards a degree at Metro State College.
Transfer students are categorized differently based on the age of the student transferring:
Transfer students 19 years old and younger:
Will attend orientation on campus. Please click on the calendar to the right to view Transfer Orientation session dates for Winter 2009-2010.
Transfer students 20 years of age and older:
Can attend an on campus or an online orientation to fulfill their orientation requirement at Metro State College. If you wish to attend an orientation on campus, please click on the calendar to the right to view Transfer Orientation session dates for Winter 2009-2010.
On Campus Orientation Registration Process-
Register by phone:
- Call our office at 303-556-6931. Please have your 900# ready.
Register by web:

Go to metroconnect.mscd.edu, look up your username and password, then login.

Once in the system, click on the 'MyServices/Registration' tab and go to the Orientation and Assessment Testing menu.

Click on the 'My Services' button located in the middle of the page.

Re-enter your log in information.

Select 'Orientation and Assessment Testing Menu' from the list given.

Select 'Register for an Orientation Session.'

Choose from the drop down menu the session you would like to attend.

Click on 'Register for Session' button to complete process.
