Please work with the Office of Financial Aid for eligibility requirements for the Perkins Loan.
I turned in my loan paperwork why is my Perkins still in offered status?
Make sure that you have taken the online exam that must be completed by all first time borrowers. You can always call our office to find out if there is additional paperwork needed.
I made a double payment this month. Why do I still owe for next month?
Unless you have made prior arrangements with our office, paying over your minimum monthly payment will be applied to a single month. Any amount overpaid will be applied to your principle balance.
How do I change my address with your office?
This can be done one of several ways. You can either call our office directly, change it with Metropolitan State University of Denver or via the internet at ACS.
You will be notified via mail shortly before you enter into repayment. Once you go into repayment, you will be sent out monthly billing statements with a coupon. All you need to do is detach the coupon from your statement and mail it in. Payments can also be made over the phone to our office at 303-556-2913 or 1-888-310-8781. You may also register your account at ACS to have the money withdrawn directly from your checking account or to pay using a credit card. Remember any payment you make over your minimum monthly payment will go towards principle.
If you want to make a payment using a credit card on our payment portal, click on the payments button on the left hand side of this screen. We will not be able to reflect a balance due or a pay off amount, but you may use this payment feature without being charged a convenience fee.
When you call to make a payment to us over the phone, we will transfer you to the Office of the Cashier. Please make sure to tell the cashier you are making a Perkins payment.
How can I access my account online?
You may go to ACS to see your account anytime. This will allow you to set up automatic payments and get up to date information regarding your account anytime.
