Information for Transfer Students

Some 5,000 students transfer to Metro State each year after a less-than-satisfying college experience somewhere else. In fact, more students transfer here than to any other four-year college in the state.

Transfer Student Checklist

  • Schedule an appointment with a Metro State transfer counselor (bring along past college transcripts).
  • Complete your Metro State application online.
  • Send your $25 nonrefundable application fee to our Office of Admissions.
  • Request official college transcripts and have them sent to the Office of Admissions.
