Frequently Asked Questions
Catalog/Class Schedule
Where can I get a Catalog? What’s the difference between the Catalog and Class Schedule?
All first time students and transfer students receive a Catalog at Orientation. There are a limited number of Catalogs available at the Auraria Book Center.
The cost is $3.00.
The Catalog is also posted on the MSU Denver Web site.
Class Schedules are available in the Registrar’s Office, Student Success Building 160.
The Catalog is an official publication of MSU Denver.
Published annually, the Catalog contains admission, graduation and degree requirements, policies and procedures, as well as descriptions of every degree program and course offered by the University.
You must use a single Catalog to meet all your degree requirements, including the General Studies, major and minor requirements.
Generally, you must select a Catalog in effect while you are enrolled at MSU Denver. For transfers and returning students, see the section “Academic Policies and Procedures,” in the current Catalog.
The Class Schedule is published prior to each semester, and includes enrollment and registration information, as well as a schedule of courses offered in the coming semester.
