Reverse Transfer

Finish your Associate's Degree while completing your Bachelor's @ MSU Denver! 

MSU Denver Reverse Transfer partnership with Community College of Aurora, Community College of Denver, and Front Range Community College allows you to transfer credits from MSU Denver back to your community college.  This means you can complete the Associate's Degree you started there while still working toward your Bachelor's Degree here!

You are eligible for the Reverse Transfer program if:

  • You transferred to MSU Denver with at least 15 credits from one of the above community colleges, and then,
  • You have completed a total of at least 70 credit hours.

Next Steps:

If you meet these requirements, ask us to send your official MSU Denver transcript to your community college by following these instructions:

  1. Complete the Reverse Transfer Degree Request Form by clicking on your community college's link below and submitting your supplemental paperwork. You MUST complete this step with your community college before moving on to Step #2.
  2. STOP: Did you complete Step #1 first? If you did, find your community college's address below and use it to request your MSU Denver transcript.
  3. Log in to ConnectU:
    • Select 'My Services/Registration" tab
    • Select "My Services" to log in again
    • Select "Registration, Credit Card Payment, Student Records, and Financial Aid Menu"
    • Select "Student Records"
    • Select "Request Official Transcripts to be Mailed"
    • Indicate your community college's address with ATTN: Reverse Transfer as indicated below.
  4. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Office of the Registrar at 303-556-3991.
  5. Your community college will contact you for future steps after receiving your Reverse Transfer transcript.
