Wait List Procedures
Students are absorbed into classes from wait lists in order; however, there is no guarantee that all students will be absorbed, and students MUST DROP a waitlisted class, as with any other class by tuition deadline in order to receive a 100% refund of tuition and fees. It is recommended you attend all class sessions while on the waitlist with the instructors permission. You are advised to logon to ConnectU to see if you have been absorbed from the wait list. Please note, department chairs and deans are the only authorized staff in charge of absorbing the wait list. You are not charged tuition and fees for a class while you are on a wait list; however, if you are absorbed during the payment timelines you will be responsible for tuition payment.
You must pay your tuition by the tuition deadline if you are absorbed into a class from the wait list to avoid being assessed the 4% service charge. If you are absorbed into a class from the wait list after the tuition deadline through the 50% refund deadline date you will be assessed a 1.5% service charge. It is your responsibility to check your enrollment status during this period to determine if you have been enrolled. DO NOT RELY ON VERBAL NOTIFICATION.
Note: Wait-list classes do not count toward the total enrollment for your financial aid disbursement. Please contact the Financial Aid Office if you have any questions. Wait-listed students in ONLINE COURSES DO NOT have access to classes until after they are officially enrolled into a class
