Rowdy Expired Password Reset
If you are a MSU Denver faculty, student or staff with a Rowdy account, you may notice that your password expires every 120 days, per College policy.
To reset your password, all you will need to know is you last password. If you cannot remember your password, please use the Rowdy Expired Password Reset Form.
To reset your password simply connect to Rowdy using an SSH client and enter your username and password as usual. The system will prompt you, notifying you that your password has expired and will need to be reset. The system will then provide you with four password reset options and walk you through the steps necessary.
Alternately, if you ever need to reset your password at any time, simply connect to Rowdy using an SSH client and enter your username and password as usual. At the command prompt issue the passwd command and follow the on screen instructions.
