Cannot Access SafeAssign

Assignment Submission timeframe
After an assignment has been submitted to SafeAssign to be analyzed, it may take up to 24 hours (during peak times) to receive the originality report. Typically, we have seen the following response times to receive the originality report:
- If the assignment was setup as "urgent": 45 minutes to 1.45 hours
- If the assignment was setup as "non-urgent": 1 - 4 hours
The response time to receive an originality report is dependant on the # of submissions by all college's and the time of the semester.
Access to Safeassign from Metro State wireless network
Currently SafeAssign can only be accessed via the Auraria Campus wireless network from the following buildings: Arts, West, Central,Technology, Science,Admin,7th St, Plaza, PE, Metro North, Metro South, Rectory.
Access to SafeAssign from work locations
You may experience issues accessing SafeAssign from your work or locations that have firewalls that block certain traffic. To access SafeAssign, you must be on a network that allows access to www.safeassign.com on TCP port number 8443.
Access to SafeAssign if you have a personal firewall
You may experience issues accessing SafeAssign from if you have a personal firewall (Norton Security Center, Zonealarm, or others) that block certain traffic. To access SafeAssign, you must allow access to www.safeassign.com on TCP port number 8443. Please refer to your security software settings for more information.
