Academic Suspension Appeal Process

DEADLINES:  Spring 2013 (Monday January 14, 2013)

 *Be advised, that the Fall 2012 deadline is fast approaching. If you believe your summer grades will fall below the 2.2 semester GPA we recommend filling out an appeal proactively.   

In an effort to clarify Academic Suspension terms a tutorial is required prior to completing the online appeal. To sign up and complete the course (tutorial), you must first go to http://metrostate.blackboard.com/ and create a Blackboard account. This is done by clicking on "Look up your initial password" and following the directions. After that you can add the course to your Blackboard account through the following steps.

From the same log in page you set up your account, click "Course List"

  1. Click "Training"

  2. Click "Student"

  3. Click "Student Courses"

  4. Click "Student Intervention Services Orientation"

  5. Enroll by clicking on the human icon on the right under "actions"

  6. You may now proceed to ;log back in to Blackboard through http://metrostate.blackboard.com/ and go through the Student Intervention Services Orientation which will now be avalaible under your course list.
