Blackboard Online Tutorial Instructions
To sign up for the course, you must first go to click on https://metrostate.blackboard.com and select Metropolitan State College of Denver, and you’ve arrived at the log-in page.
From here you may need to create a Blackboard log-in. You can start this by clicking on “look up initial password” and following the directions until you get your default password. You may also look up your initial password by going to https://prod-banner.msudenver.edu/pls/prod_web/bwmsidlk.p_portal_getidnumb
If you already have a Blackboard account, or once you get your initial password follow these instructions from the log in page (https://metrostate.blackboard.com):

From the log in page, click “Course List”

Click “Training”

Click “Students”

Click “Student Courses”

Click “Student Intervention Services Orientation”

Enroll by clicking on the human icon on the right under “actions”

You may be prompted to change your default password and set up a security question in case you forget your password in the future.
Upon logging into Blackboard you may now access the Student Intervention Services Course Page:

View the Tutorial that applies to you (Academic Probation, Academic Suspension, and Probationary Re-admit).

Take the short quiz. After you have successfully submitted the quiz you will need to select “view attempt” to check that you achieved a 100% score.

After a 100% score on the quiz, go back to the introduction page and refresh. Upon doing so the Probationary Contract will be available to you under the Table of Contents. You can submit the contract by agreeing to the terms of Academic Probation and clicking "Finish." If doing the suspension appeal a link to the form will be available after the quiz.
