Where Success Begins with You!
As you explore your options after high school, I encourage you to consider the benefits of participating in the summer Metro Summer Scholars Program where your success is our success.
The purpose of the eight-week summer program is to provide graduating high school seniors who demonstrate academic potential and motivation for success an opportunity to get a head start on their college education at Metro State. The Metro Summer Scholars Program is a scholarship program that is dedicated to helping students make a successful transition from high school to college and become better prepared for the academic rigors of college.
Our dedicated staff comprised of faculty, administrators, and peer mentors is committed to helping students develop both academically and socially to the collegiate environment at Metro State. In addition to earning college credit or completing prerequisite classes during the summer, students will have an opportunity to interact with faculty, improve their college success skills, learn about campus resource and services, and most of all establish new friendships in an environment that supports their academic success.
