Personal Biography Statement
Adrienne works with faculty, staff, and the Educational Technology Center (ETC) team to design, develop and implement video, web, and multimedia-based academic technological solutions including video production (planning, recording, editing, and publishing); motion graphics production; multimedia production; website consulting & development; online course development; faculty support; and web and multimedia instruction.
Adrienne Christy joined the Metro State Web Team in 2005 as a Graphic Designer, while studying Technical Communications. On earning her Certificate in Multimedia Production, she worked as a Web Producer for College Communications before a promotion to her current position as Web & Multimedia Developer for the ETC.
Previously, Adrienne was employed for five years in both web course development and quality assurance for eCollege, a company that partners with colleges and institutions to power online education programs.
Since she earned her B.S. in Clinical Sociology from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Adrienne's passion for cross-cultural communication and understanding has led her around the world. She taught English in South Korea for 6 months and has lived in and traveled to many distant locales including Iceland, Costa Rica, Thailand, and Ethiopia.
