Personal Biography Statement
Cynthia Adornetto has over 25 years of experience in the environmental field, primarily as an environmental planner and environmental project manager. She has worked in the consulting industry and federal and state government in a variety of market sectors including transportation, recreation, water resources, energy, defense, remediation, restoration, and public lands management. Ms. Adornetto also has eight years of college teaching experience, most of which has been at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. She has taught for both the Earth and Atmospheric Sciences Department and the Technical Communications Department at Metro. Courses taught at Metro include ENV 1200 Intro. to Env. Science, GEG 1610 Intro. to Planning, GEG 1220 Map Use, GEG 1100 Intro. to Phys. Geography, GEG 3400 Water Resources, GEG 4640 Recreational Land Use Patterns, GEG 3630 Transportation Planning, GEL 1150 Oceanography, COM 2610 Intro. to Technical Writing, and COM 3670 Writing for the Env.
