Personal Biography Statement

I work for the School of Professional Studies as an Academic Advisor (I do not work in the Academic Advising Center as noted in my profile). I advise students on general studies requirements who have declared majors in Aviation and Aerospace, Criminal Justice and Criminology, Engineering Technology (Electrical, Civil, and Mechanical), Health Care Management, Human Nutrition, Integrative Therapeutic Practices, Recreation Professions, Hospitality, Tourism, and Events, Human Performance and Sport, Human Services, Industrial Design, and Technical Communication and Media Production. Students interested or declared in Teacher Education should schedule an appointment with the Teacher Education department at 303-556-6228.

If your general studies are completed, or you already have a Bachelor's degree, and you need advising for your major or minor courses, please contact your academic departments to meet with a faculty advisor.

Appointments are available Mon-Fri. To schedule an appointment, call the School of Professional Studies Advising line at 303-556-3304 or stop by West Classroom 133. My normal walk-in advising hours are:

--Tuesdays: 1:00-4:00pm
--Wednesdays: 8:00-11:00am

Walk-in hours are held in West Classroom 239B. No appointment necessary for walk-in advising times but please come prepared with questions for your walk-in. Walk-in advising is designed for students who have questions that only take at most 10-15 minutes to answer. If you feel you may need more time for advising, please schedule an appointment.

Outside of the above walk-in advising hours, students must have an appointment scheduled. Please be sure to have completed your assessment testing, and transcript evaluations by the Transfer Services office before attending your appointment.
