Personal Biography Statement

Larry has been a social worker since 1985. He has worked in different settings, such as the CMHI Ft. Logan, Children's Hospital, Gilliam Youth Service Center, Mental Health Center of Denver, Community Reach Center, Progressive Therapy ( a treatment center for sexual offenders), and NASW Colorado. Larry served as President, Treasure, and Vice President of NASW. He was Interim Executive Director of NASW Colorado.

Larry serves on the board, of Society of Adolescent Medicine Colorado Chapter, Yellow Ribbon International Suicide Prevention Program and the Conflict Center.

Besides having a bachelor and masters degree in social work, he is currently licensed as a clinical social worker, and has a certification in mediation.
