Personal Biography Statement

I was raised here in Colorado, but did not find my passion for the outdoors until attending college in southern Utah. During that time I began my education in the outdoors which has since lead me into leadership opportunities here on campus with the Outdoor Adventure Program and professional guiding in Acadia National Park, Maine. I recently graduated with a master's degree from UCD and am in my first year teaching for the Recreation Professions Department. I am also working towards a full Rock Guide certification from the AMGA and guide status with the American Canyoneering Association.
