Personal Biography Statement

Hello, my name is Amy Dore. As an instructor for the HCM program, I believe it is my job to help you succeed not only as an HCM student, but also as a student at Metropolitan State University of Denver. One strict belief I hold is an open line of communication between student and professor. In order to achieve this, there must be a level of trust. To help you to get to know me, let me tell you a little about myself.

I was born and raised in Oklahoma and moved to Colorado in 1992. I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree from MSU Denver in Health Care Management and a minor in Marketing in 1996. So, I can officially tell you that I have been in your shoes! In 2001, I received my Master’s of Health Systems from the University of Denver. And, in May 2009, I received my Doctor of Health Administration degree from Central Michigan University.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, photography, walking, traveling, and spoiling my little nephew!
