Personal Biography Statement
Dr. Wygant first received his training from the State University of New York College at Purchase Film and Theatre Conservatory earning a BFA in Acting. After a brief stint in New York as a professional actor, Dr. Wygant then went on to earn both an MA in Theatre and a Ph.D. in Fine Arts – Theatre with tracks in Theatre History/Theory/Criticism and Arts Administration from Texas Tech University. Dr. Wygant’s areas of expertise include Voice/Speech/Dialects, Theatre History, and Acting.
